Last 6 auctions sold International but.....

Question
My last 6 auction that closed all sold...but here is the rest of the story.
All 6 auction were to international country outside USA. It says very clearly in two different places in my auction, that I am giving a set price to anywere in USA, but people outside USA must email us for shipping charges.
Not one of the 6 auction international email me ahead of closing and winning auction.
3 of the 6 went right to paypal and paid for auction, but at the set much lower USA set price.
None of these 6 people that won the auction were the same person.
What is going on. Now I have to cancel these first 3 email payment or refused them.
Then I have to go to email all these people to send me there mailing address to figure international shipping to them.
Anyone else having this problem???, or I guess I should be happy I sold something even if it means lots of extra work. We aren't talking about big money here folks, less than $10.00 on each auction.
What do you think is happen here? Everyone trying to get something for nothing.
Can't ship international with USA shipping prices, it would be more than I got for the auctions themselfs.

Answer
Do you have automatic invoicing on?

Answer
No it is not on, and since I posted this last time on this, two of the last 3 people internatinally has emailed me asking me what the shipping charges were going to be internationally to them.
So it is two things, now I guess. One is paying set USA fee right away with paypal. The second thing is not emailing me for shipping rate before bidding as I asked them too in my auctions, two different places.
Any other thoughts folks???

Answer
Don't use PayPal within your auctions.

Answer
my sell thru rate has gotten 50% better since I added paypal to my auctions several months ago, so I really won't want to take paypal off of selling options either.
Any other ideas, or am I the only one having this situation lately?

Answer
Take out the PayPal clickie. You can have PayPal logo but no place for them to click on and pay for auction. This will slow them down. It will also slow down payments from your domestic buyers.

Answer
Ann,

Are you filling in the shipping information with your set US-only postage price?
I wonder if the bidders are seeing that, either in the EOA email from eBay or in the pre-filled shipping field when they go to pay with Paypal? and assuming thats the right price? ... (still doesn't address the fact that they AREN'T READING your International shipping requirements in the auction itself..)

I just started using it on my last batch of auctions, and I'm waiting til they end to see how it works out ... I'm pretty sure I'll have to find yet another way "around" eBays "enhancements" on this one ...

Other than making a larger than the rest of your auction text International shipping notice at the top of your listings, I don't know what to do to get them to read, sorry

Answer
when they pay with paypal, you should be getting their address also. figure out the additional shipping they owe you, add the fee for the additional paypal payment it'll cost you and invoice them for the total they still owe.

Answer
I have a lot on overseas buyers so I never have checkout filled out for any auction..right after the auction I send an invoice through Ebay with the right shipping...I've never had an overseas buyer pay with Paypal for the domestic shipping.

Answer
Well group, this is what I am going to do about this and see if it works any better.
I have changed the wording a little on payment information, and it reads like this now-
Shipping - Media Mail - USPS - $_.__, plus delivery conformation of $.55 cent in USA Only. If you live outside USA, then please email us before bidding for shipping cost which will be higher than USA price.
I am hoping that will clear up some of the international thing that is happening to me.
I don't want to mess up the easy paypal in the usa price, just because some international buyers can't or won't read shipping amount.
I will let group know in a few weeks if this help or works better also.
You all have a great day, and good luck with all your auctions, now and in the future.
