Question
Hey all..just wondering what people thought was the best management software for ebay. I have been using Sold V and seem to really like it...any others that you would recommend that don't cost an arm and a leg.
Thanks, Kasey

Okay. Hello Kasey, nice to meet you. I use Auction Sage for all after auction management. I think it is $79 a year. Has everything I want, easy to use and John has great customer service. It also has listing program, but I'm still sticking with the ease of Auction Submit.
I also like Inkfrog image hosting and auction tools, their customer service is also excellent.
Answer
I don't sell enough to use an auction listing program but I just wanted to stop in and say HOWDY and welcome to here.
Also wanted to let you know that your signature line link is messed up... it says .cm/ instead of .com/

I don't think there is a best auction management software for everyone. As a general rule of thumb though, the more you're willing to pay, the more nice features you'll receive. However, the most expensive solution is not always the most sensible solution.
When I was looking, I sat down and listed the features that were most important to me and other features which were less important or not important at all. Then I read up on about a dozen different auction management solutions and used the list I made to narrow down the choices.
For example, I have two eBay IDs, one for each product line I carry. So, it was a must that the software I chose allowed me to use multiple IDs without charging me for each ID. Inventory control features were also a must as I often have several of the same item in inventory.
On the other hand, I already had image hosting ability, so the ability of an auction service company to host my images was not important at all.
It's really hard to make a recommendation to someone else unless it is known what features are important to them and what features are not so important. When my brother started selling on eBay my recommendations to him were completely different than what I myself was using. He had different needs.

The more hands you have dipping into your pot, the less money you will make. So, unless you sell a product with a good margin or sell in volume, do-it-yourself as much as possible.
I don't think there is a "best" auction management. I think there are two types of auction managers - desktop based and web-based. Both have benefits. I think it depends on your budget, time available to you, and what your specific needs are. For me, a desktop based program is best, but others like web-based services.
