Question
I made a sale off my site, and the items shipped within 24 hours - on August 7 to be exact, via Priority Mail (which is what she asked & paid for).
I wake up to this e-mail on Wednesday:

OK, so I just decide to ignore the last few lines and deal with the real issues at hand. I find the # for her post office in NC and call, and lo & behold they even know who her carrier is. I speak to the nice carrier, Joyce, who remembers putting the evelope in the box on the 11th, as she remembers my "cute" return address label. She tells me she'll check with the neigbors & see if they got it. So I e-mail the customer to keep her updated. No response. I call and leave her a voice mail.
I call the carrier back and she says the neighbors never saw it. http://community.here.com/infopop/em...icon_frown.gif I decide to send her a duplicate order, via Express Mail. I get it all ready to go last night, and wake up to this e-mail:

Ok, she called & left me a message (her verbal skills are only slightly better than her written) and this is what I understand happened.
She said to members of her family "Did anyone get a package in the mail for me today?" Her family all said "no". Several days later after all the investigations with the post office, she asked again. This time, someone in her house said "oh yeah, there's a Priority envelope here addressed to you, I thought you were expecting a package, not an envelope". http://community.here.com/infopop/em...n_confused.gif So, apparently she never checks the mail, and whoever else lives in her house just gives her what she asks for, and she only gets it if she describes it properly. http://community.here.com/infopop/em...on_biggrin.gif Lordy, I hope she's not the one responsible for bills & such. http://community.here.com/infopop/em.../icon_wink.gif

I sort of had one of those on Friday.
I had someone order some monogrammed products back at the beginning of July.
I was going away to a horse show, so left the order with the woman who works for me. Told her to do the monogramming, make them up and ship them out.
Fine. This past Wednesday I get an email from the lady who ordered them saying they haven't arrived and she is leaving for 3 weeks going to horse shows, and she needs them by Friday. Where are they, and I had better ship overnight so she has them on time.
Keeping my cool, I tell her that they left back in early July and if she was working on a deadline should have let me know earlier than 6 weeks later. She has bought from me before, so knows the general delivery times and 2 weeks is normal. And if you are going away, why would you wait to question 3 days before you are leaving?
Anyway I let her know I will remake a new set and ship overnight on Thursday and she will have them on Friday.
Well we all know what happened on Thursday. As a matter of fact, her package was scanned 3 seconds before the power went out.
So when I get the power back there is an email from her stating: It is 6:30 Friday and you promised to ship these overnight. Why aren't they here?
You want to email back and say, "Have you been on this planet for the last 24 hours?"
I tell her that due to the power failure, no planes left Toronto on Thursday night so her package may still be at the airport or just started on its journey. I offered a refund on her items if she wanted.
She did email back saying she would keep the items when they arrived and that her husband would be home to receive them.
Makes you wonder about some people.

I just had some guy ream me a new one over not getting his CD writer and he paid me good money and I have ripped him off yadda yadda...
I DON'T SELL ELECTRONICS....of any kind.

I wrote him a nice apology letter and said on the bottom, sorry but you didn't buy this from us. He apologized profusely.
his wife bought something last month but wrote how esctatic she was with it when she received it.
