Ebay Store. How to get away ?

Question
Hello all. I finally took the plunge & recently opened a ebay store. It has been sucessfull but now I find it hard to get away for a few days. I don't like leaving the store, or the computer, knowing that there may be questions or sales pending. As with auctions I could control it. Anyway to take a break, with a store front without deleting all you adds ???

Answer
Hi Calvin,

I'm sure someone with a store will be along to answer you more in-depth -

I just wanted to say the last I had read on the eBay Stores board (months and months ago, this was) that they were actually going to work on implementing a "vacation" feature for the stores. Don't know if they have or not, but you could try over there see if anyone can tell you.

I think at the time they were suggesting you just put a note up on your me page and set up automatic notices to let your customers know you would be away x amount of days/weeks/what have you.

Good luck, it's nice to hear someone out there is so busy selling they actually need a break to get away from it!

Answer
Do you use the eBay's custom store header with store logo in your auctions? If so, you could temporarily change the logo to one which indicates when you are on vacation. Since the custom header appears at the top of every auction description, it's unlikely to be missed.

Answer
The only solution I've heard is to post a note in the header of your Store and, for those that know how, set up an automated email reply to sales that inform buyers you are away.

Answer
Vacation feature, I'll believe it when I see it. It makes too much sense, so I am sure eBay will continue to drag its feet implementing one.
