Question
I have a German buyer that wants to send money to me and says she can send quasi cash. I've heard of it but I can't remember if there's a fee to accept it to a personal account? Anyone know?
Thanks in advance.

Answer
If I recall correctly quasi cash is just one of the options you can choose to send money..I alway choose that option if I don't want to mess around putting in an auction number etc.
I wouldn't think they would charge you anything to receive it.
Answer
I believe if you are sending quasi-cash and you are using a credit card to fund the transaction they charge the sender as if it were a cash advance.

Answer
This is from PayPal's help site.
Using your credit or debit card to to send money, you will not be charged a cash advance fee to send money for eBay items, Services, Auction Goods (non-eBay), or other Goods.
For these types of transactions, PayPal charges your credit or debit card only for the transaction amount. If you send money for a "Quasi-Cash" transaction and pay with a credit card or debit card, the card issuer may treat the transaction as a cash advance and charge a cash advance fee. PayPal has no control over third party fees. To send money as a "Quasi-Cash" transaction, you may want to use a different payment method (e.g., your bank account or a money order) to avoid incurring fees.
