Question
I just got Auction Submit version 1.135 on Win XP Pro SP2, sbcyahoo DSL. I have 3 items with picture URLs and when I try to submit all or one I get the following error: "Error submitting auction. The eBay web pages have changed." I've made sure it is configured correctly to best of my abilities, updated the ebay listing categories, rebooted and still no luck. Any help appreciated.
tnx

Answer
Hi Hank, sorry to hear that you're having problems but WELCOME to here!
AuctionSubmit is notorious for being slow to update their program. With eBay being in a state of constant flux in regard to changes, it's no wonder the smaller companies can't keep up!
When I was using the program and had errors like that, I would just shut down for the night and hope that it would be updated in a day or two.
Good luck!
Answer
First of all; Welcome to here.
You say that you rebooted. Did you clear cache before rebooting? Sometimes that helps me (but with a different program).
Sometimes when I get frustrated with the program I'm using, I just list directly from eBay's SYI and import the auction back into my system.
Good luck!
Answer
Auction Submit used to be a good program. Unfortunately I haven't been able to use it in months without the "eBay communications error".
You have to wonder how much dedication and time the owners are willing to commit when they don't even support the 50 characters in the title that has been available for several months.
Answer
I got this error a few days ago, so I just copied the source for my AS ads onto the SYI page. The next morning it was fine. There is usually a problem with lag time when ebay makes a change, but they do catch up. I still use it because it is so easy to list, I'll put up with the aggravation at times. Much easier since I learned to do the source paste and do that if it isn't working.........And I don't complain because......after all it is FREE. I just like this program so much, I wish they would charge and spend more time on updates and support.
