Question
Why is it that when you do an Ebay search and after looking at one of the 100's of items and do a go back one is always taken back to the top of the search page? Now you need to scroll through everything again to continue where you were last at.
Is it my browser (Netscape 7.2) or Ebay? This is so annoying.

Answer
eBay likes to do these kinds of things Larry. It's how they get their jollies!
Answer
Mine doesn't take me to the top, it takes me to where I left off.
I use Firefox and IE.
Answer
I use Netscape 7.1. Long ago I stopped using the back button. Simply right click, open in new tab..when done viewing, close the tab..hope this helps
Answer
I use Firefox also and some areas of Ebay it'll pop you back up on top of the page when you hit the back button and some areas it'll put you back where you belong.
I checked the problem out in a Google search and there was a lot of people complaining about the same thing...seems to be a Ebay problem as it doesn't do it anywhere else on the net for me or anyone else.
Answer
When I use IE, it always takes me back to where I was on the page.
When I use Firefox it's about 50/50...sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't.
Like everyone else said, the only place it does this is eBay.
Answer
I use "right click/open in new tab" rather than clicking right on the link and that way I can open four or five items at a time giving some time to load while I look at the first one and also never losing my place on the original search page.
Peace,
Sadie
Answer
