Does this type of dish have a name

I posted a pic of this over on the mystery thread but It scrolled off so fast, I never got a reply.

This is such a unique piece and I thought it may have a special purpose. The Edges curve up and it has handles. Is hand painted and raised to the touch. Red stamp on back #7305. 12" long.

Could it be a "bone tray". If it were smaller I would call it a pickle/relish but 12" is too big I think. What ever it is I like it.

my vote is for asparagus....corn would be a more squarish shape...
