Question
I posted this yesterday but don't think it went through...can't find it. I have this roller "thing" and have no idea what it's used for. It measures approx. 6" long and 5' wide. On 2nd photo is where the incised name is. It reads, "Auphenix" and "B.G.J.-Paris" Anyone here have a clue to what it is?? Thanks, Phyllis

Answer
Looks like it would be handy to smooth down wallpaper border.
Answer
Rollers like that with only one roller are called brayers and are used to smooth out clay in crafting and in printing (I don't remember how they work for printers). Maybe this is a double one? Stampers like them.
