What is the new RETURN POLICY FORMAT in eBay SYI?

Question
Does anyone know what the new RETURN POLICY FORMAT is for eBay's SYI? They're going to have a workshop about this new Return Policy on October 22 and I don't know what they're talking about.

Answer
Never mind, I think I found the answer.

How to specify your return policy
In the "Return Policy" section of the Sell Your Item form, take the following steps:
Click on the checkbox "Returns accepted".
Select the time limit within which the buyer must return the item to you.
Select the type of refund you will give if the item is returned.
Enter all other details about your return policy in the text box provided.
Be sure to state your full return policy in your item description as well. Blanche

They just keep adding on layers. One day, we will have so many pieces to the puzzle one will not be able to find the auction description.
By the way, have you bought anything off of woot?

Answer
have you bought anything off of woot? Yes and thanks for the link!

Answer
By the way, have you bought anything off of woot? Not yet commentary but I always check out the daily bargain. I just haven't seen anything that I need.
dove, were you pleased with the Woot transaction?

Answer
dove, were you pleased with the Woot transaction? I got in on the Bag 'O Crap II deal so it really isn't a fair judge of the company since it's mostly just a gag type of thing. The order came right on schedule, no billing issues and was not less than I was expecting. Overall I'd give it a positive feedback. Plus I now have some stocking stuffers taken care of and a few little gadgets for me to play with!

Answer
It looks like this is a new feature. The workshop about the new Return Policy Feature in SYI was announced before it appeared on the General Announcement Board. I'm not losing my mind after all.

***Coming Soon: New Return Policy Feature in SYI***
Date: 10/14/04 Time: 11:12:48 AM PDT

In the next few days, we will introduce an improved way for sellers to display their return policies on the Item page. Having a return policy helps build confidence for potential buyers and improves sales for sellers.
The new feature will provide a separate section on the Sell Your Item (SYI) form, where sellers can include details of their return policies. The new feature will enable sellers to specify:
*whether they accept returns;
*the time period for returning items;
*the type of refund offered to the buyer (for example, exchange, money back, merchant credit, etc.);
*any additional details about the return policy.
Sellers who take advantage of the new feature will have their return policies displayed in a designated section of the Item page. Using this feature is completely optional. The new return policy section will not appear on the Item page if a seller chooses not to have a return policy.
We've heard from buyers that having an "easy, no-hassle" return policy was one of the most important changes an eBay seller could make to encourage buyers to shop more. We've found that sellers who clearly spell out their return policy have received a higher sell-through rate, on average, with only a minimum of actual returns. We hope these changes to the way the return policy is displayed on the Item page will improve the eBay experience for both buyers and sellers.
For more information about the feature, please see the return policy preview page or read our Frequently Asked Questions.
We have started a thread on the Seller Central discussion board for members to leave their feedback about the changes. Please click here to access this thread. We also encourage you to participate in an online workshop on the importance of having a return policy, to be conducted on October 22nd, from 14:00-15:00 PM Pacific time.

One night, they put out something and it was sold out within 5 minutes. Forgot what is was but I know for sure it was not the bag of cr*p. Sometimes I wonder what quantity they have available.
I couldn't believe how they sell out on some of the higher price electronics.

Answer
Blanche, if you are REALLY interested in a "bag of crap" deal check out Neil's auctions any week.
