Anyone else having trouble getting into their paypal account since they 'IMPROVED' their front page????? I have been getting an error message 3004, try later, most of the time. Not such an improvement.

Hi! I have recently come back to here. How do you get a picture on before your name??

Answer
I was trying to print out all my shipping labels on Friday via eBay/Paypal and kept getting that very same error message all morning long and was able to actually print out only about half of my labels, very frustrating
How do you get a picture on before your name?? Go to "My here" at the top, then "Edit Avatar" and you will find the link for the picture.

Answer
I'm getting messages from buyers saying they can't get into PayPal in order to pay me

Answer
Yep, I've gotten a few buyers write to say they can't pay. So I tried myself, and attempted to pay a couple of bucks off my Ebay fees--couldn't get through. Message 3004 or something like that. I clicked retry four times and it went through to the next screen, where I had to click retry again a few times. Eventually the payment did go through but what a pain.

A couple of my MEP customers recently encountered this when trying to sign up to my service, and as it turns out there seems to be cookie issue that is causing this for some. I've sent these following instructions to them and so far it has worked for everyone, 3004 error gone:
------------
In regard to the error that you are receiving, it is possible that this could be an issue with
your browser cookies. Deleting your current cookies could resolve the issue for you. If you are
using Internet Explorer you can follow these steps to delete cookies:
1. At the very top of Internet Explorer click "Tools" and choose "Internet Options".
2. In the "General" tab of "Internet Options" click the "Delete Cookies" button and
then click "OK" when prompted.
3. Next to the "Delete Cookies" button click the "Delete Files" button and tell it
to "Delete all offline content". (this will clear your browser cache)
4. Close all web browsers, then open a fresh one and come back to our page and try again.

Disclaimer - I'm obligated to say that I cannot accept responsibility for anything that happens with your computer if you use those steps, but they are very generic basic everyday steps to refresh your browser's memory and kill old cookies it might be hanging on to.

Answer
I kept getting that error the other day, and I emailed support and asked when they expected it to be fixed. I was a little cranky, as I needed to check my balance before I went to town, and couldn't... I finally got a response this morning, saying there were intermittent problems with access during some upgrades they were doing... Yeah, right. You can tell they are 'an eBay company' for sure!
