What happened to the old ebay SEARCH button?

Question
Now its on the upper right corner. I liked the handy dandy tab better. When did they change that? Shows how much I pay attention to ebay changes.

Answer
They just keep messing with everything. Now Search is on our auction pages, too. You know...the ones we pay for?

Answer
Ebay relies on sellers fees to function but make no bones about screwing us in the hiney.

Answer
The biggest nuisance (for me) of this "corner" search, is that it does not have description search. Is Ebay trying to discourage description or do they consider so few people use it, they can go find their own search page if they want to use it? I am surprised at how often I have been thrown out by that. If I go to the seller's other auction page (something I did regularly) I now have to "clear" the entire search to use description search, and sometimes *still* get a search of the seller's auctions only, because it does not clear properly.
Just whingeing, Kevin

Answer
You used to be able to click SELLER and type in the name. And auction numbers. Now you have to jump thru hoops.
I have my ebay up at the top of my pc so all I have to do is click to get to my sales, but now I cant even get in that way. I have to literally type in EBAY.COM in the search bar, then log in from there.

Answer
Just wanted to say to Hep!

Answer
I think eBay is trying to encourage people to search by category.

It will be interesting to see what ebay will do once they get more and more competition.

Answer
Hi.
To get to the right page with seller and buyer searches just click "Advanced Search" under the search box. The the options are on the left.
What a pain!
