Anyone else ever have Paypal withdrawal take longer than normal?

Question
I have been using Paypal now for almost 4 years.
For the first time I have a withdrawal that has yet to appear in my bank account after a week (5 business days). It has always be 2 days from time of withdrawal till it appears in my account.
I talked to Paypal and because it hasn't been 7 business days they can't do anything. Says for some reason the odd one to Canada does take that long. I did another withdrawal this past Monday and it was in my bank account Wednesday. Still waiting for the almost $1,000 from last Thursday.
It is nervewracking to say the least to wonder where in cyberspace your money is hiding. It probably will show up in my account, but did it have to pick one that was of so much money?
Has this happened to anyone else?
I did call my bank and they have no electronic deposit of record for that amount there or anything backlogged for deposit to my account.

Answer
The "Auction Bytes" email newslatter from Ina Stiener reported that PayPal said their recent problems with delayed withdrawals has now been fixed.
Obviously, they did have a problem of some sort:

Thanks Summermeadow. Why didn't the Paypal rep just tell me this on the phone? Then I wouldn't be fretting that my money is floating around in cyberspace. He just kept quoting that it hadn't been "7 business days" even though it has always only taken 2.
So he obviously knew why, as I am certain I wasn't the only complaint to Paypal.
Can't they just be honest about their mistakes?

Answer
I wonder how much this depends on your bank. I've seen other sellers mention that it usually takes 2 business days, but when I transfer money from PP to my bank account, it almost always takes at least 5 business days.

Answer
My money showed up this afternoon in my account.
Read that most paypal withdrawals from the 15-18 this process till the 21st.
Glad to have my money.
