Question
I opened up an Ebay store over the weekend (free trial period).
The auctions I had up before opening the store are showing up on my store page, but not the ones that I've added today. I don't understand what's happening. During the listing process, I did choose what category I wanted to added the items to, so I believed that they were going to appear in my store.
Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong.

Answer
That is puzzling. They should show up.
Even when I was listing on FLD last December, the listings appeared immediately in my store. There was a delay of some hours in the gallery pictures showing up, but not the listings themselves.
Answer
Hmm, that is puzzling as my listings show up in search right away but the store has always taken a few hours more. They show up on the ebay page as a store item but did not show when you clicked on the store link until a few hours had passed.
that is ebay for yah! http://community.here.com/infopop/em...on_biggrin.gif

Thanks for the help. I'll be a bit more patient.
Another question...
Do you normally list items in your store only (a lot cheaper) or do you do the auctions and have them appear in your store too? Or do you mix them up?
Thanks!

Answer
Hi Kallie,
I sell one of a kind. The way the search works with stores is different from the search with ebay. Your store items will not show up in an ebay search unless they are searching specifically in ebaystores.com.
So you need to have items in auctions and encourage them to click on your store link to see your other items.
I like the store mainly for the ability to search by category but I will put old stock of like items in the store when I am running auctions. I don't have any up now as I am leaving town soon.
here is a link to a thread mimi started that has some good information in it.

For all your help. We're just getting back into the Ebay thing and so many things have changed. We've got a lot to learn.
I think we're gonna take your advice and list one of each of our items via auction and the rest of our stock just on the store. Fee wise, it's a much better deal to do it this way.
Thanks again,

Answer
This may have been asked but...
Lets say you have an auction going for a blue widget.
You have a link to your ebay store with other colors of widgets, (including another blue widget) with the fixed price of $5.00
Now this auction widget, the bids are going crazy. Way higher than you expected. Someone wins, etc. pays $15.00
Now they see you have a store. They go to your store, and by gosh, they could have purchased this on your store for $5.00 (or the same widget just a diff color)
So what do you do? Not list auctions with the exact same thing as in your store, but similar enough to generate traffic?
Should items in your store be less or more $ than auctions?
This could be a problem because you never know what an auction is going to end at.
Or do you do an auction with a buy it now, (same as store price) but a slightly lower opening price? And say see more at this buy it now price in my ebay store?
Am I rambling? http://community.here.com/infopop/em...on_biggrin.gif
