ebay keeps making things harder

Question
I have about 75 different sellers that I keep track of - either I've bought from them or they sell things I might be interested in. I usually go through the whole list once a week, looking at their auctions, seeing what they have.
In doing that tonight, I realized just how badly ebay is screwing with seller's items page ...changing things and not for the better, IMO.
Example, you want to save a seller's list to your favorites - right click, save in favorites. Does the sellers name show in the URL you're saving like it used to? NO - now, depending on what seller has listed ...
"eBay - , Glass, Pottery China, and Fashion Jewelry items at low prices"
"eBay - , Housewares Kitchenware, Vintage Antique Toys, and Advertising items at low prices"

If seller has no auctions running, right clicking and save to favorites gets this ...
"eBay - items at low prices"
Of course, if you want to save more than one seller's list that is not running auctions at the moment, you get this ...
"The name you have entered for the shortcut already exists on your Favorites menu. Would you like to overwrite it?"
All this also happens if you click "Add" in IE Favorites.
BTW, isn't it wonderful to see at low prices in every URL?
Now, you do have the option, at the bottom of each seller's page, to save that page to favorites. But guess what ...that saves them in my ebay's favorites, where you have to sign in to see them. I don't want them saved there, I want them in my IE favorites.
I am just SO tired of ebay messing with everything and anything ...change just because. It is old.

I also just found out that bidders have to enable the Second chance offer. I was a second higest bidder & the seller e-mailed me with an additional copy for a Second chance offer asking if I had it turned off or if Ebay was just screwy.

Sure enough I looked it up and there is an option for second chance offer that was unchecked. This is my bidding account and I could swear I had gotten at least one second chance offer on it already, but I could be wrong.

Luckily I found it and enabled it so I got the item

There is just about nothing intuitive about the site anymore. It does not need *most* of the refinements.
I haven't been browsing the site for a couple of days and just seen the new "search" format for "Seller's Other Auctions". My first thought was that I don't like it. My second impression was that there is an advantage in having the category sort down the side - you can find the similar items much easier in a mixed listing. I will get used to the format.
Karen, if I use favorites at the top of my screen, and "Add to Favorites", I can easily rename the title of the page - I will probably do "Ebay Seller - cumquat4422" (as an invalid example), since I save some bidder lists as well. It is an extra step, but easy enough to do.
Kind Regards, Kevin
