Thank you!!! here has saved me a bundle!

Question
Hello all:
I dont post often, but read here daily. I'd like to thank you all for sharing so much information so necessary for anyone selling on line. Your posts have helped me avoid a scam that sure looked good, but the better they look, the more suspicious I have become.
My current listing include a high dollar item ($850) and got a bid from a new user richymotors_inc16 from Singapore with zero feedback and member since Sept 18. I checked other items they were bidding on, and there are about 12 more, all big-ticket items from other sellers. The real tip off was this email I just received:
"HI, Am an automerchant of years of experience with an arrayof clientsaround the coast of europe and africa,a client has placed a quote on your Yesteryear Y-11 Lagonda gold with purple chassis and the need to get intouch to you for the buy it no price. Will you be able to accept a cashier check as a mode ofpayment?,my client has said he will only raise a certified cashiers check for the payment of your item and the shipping charges from the united States to it's new origin. This means the cashier's check that will be sent to you will include the money for the sales of your item, my commission as an automerchant and the shippers fees. What i want to clarify is that will you be able to send the excess fund on the check back to me through Western Union Money Transfer method as soon as you get the and cash it and deduct the money for the sales of your item? Please your answer on this, will enable me to issue a directive to my client on the issuance of your payment to you asap.Do get back to m"
If it were not for here I might have been out my item, bounced check fees, and an additional amount sent by Western Union to the agent!
I contacted eBay on this, but have serious doubts they will do anything.
Thanks again!!!

Answer
Aint here great.
glad you didn't get hung up in the scam a ramma ding dong

Answer
the buy it no price.
bwaaahaaahaaa isn't that what is going on with ebay lately
Glad you didn't loose anything.

Answer
I am glad you didn't get burned by them. Ebay really doesn't seem to care and won't give us the courtesy of addressing our issues at all. They are more concerned with screwing with our auctions and making it as difficult as possible to sell our wares. When trouble rears its ugly head and we ask them for assistance, we get absolutely nowhere. At least that has been my experience. If I was physically able to sell our wares in another venue and be able to make enough to put food on the table, I most certainly would.

Answer
As in my post above, I reported suspicious circumstances to eBay. This person had a number of other high dollar bids with other sellers, but...this person is now NARU !!
Here is what I received from eBay:
