Answer
had a 75% sell through between two id's and one "sleeper" item went over 100.00
I figured it would hit maybe 45.00
Had a great week. Lotsd of multiple bidders and a lot of new for me bidders, which always pays off during the winter months.

Well, y'all are inspiring me. I haven't sold in July or August for the past two years because it seemed like I was giving my stuff away--same amount of work, less money! But those prices are looking pretty darned good, and I'm thrilled to hear about the bidding wars/new bidders.
Maybe I'll try listing a few things to see what happens.

Answer
I don't have any one thing, but I wanted to add that my sale through has gone up and I am getting what I want for my stuff. http://community.here.com/infopop/em...on_biggrin.gif

after last summer's experiments, I made a whole plan for this summer, because the summer before we almost went broke.
The plan appears to be working.

If I get a chance, I will add some good sales from the last two weeks when Ebay comes back up. I have been dissappointed that Triumphant Tuesday has dropped back to about every three or four weeks. I thought that we were discouraged from putting it into this forum, because it's (fading) tradition was firmly in the adjacent forum. I am happy to support it here though.
After further delays this week (and almost hitting useage limits on my server - I suspect that tweaks with the Ebay listing pages have caused my MB useage to skyrocket this month) I *hope* to start the live auction thread tonight (even though I promised I would earlier in the week)....
Ebay being down when you pull up the Triumphant Tuesday thread is a real drag!

Ignorance is bliss http://community.here.com/infopop/em...on_biggrin.gif, Is that why it has not been here?? I am clueless as to what goes on in the other forum as I do not read over there. I have limited time to give to forums and I try to make the most of it with absorbing my mind with information to help me figure out how to make life easier on the internet! Ha!!
Sure hope I am not stepping on any toes. http://community.here.com/infopop/em...icon_smile.gif
Thanks all for posting and surely there are more?????????
Here is a teapot, I always try to pick these up at sales when they are in good condition. Teamate
Kevin, that must be a drag with your service, I guess I am spoiled with satelite.
I look forward to your auction thread, I was at an auction most of Tuesday. Found tons of old craft patterns that I am anxious to list when I get back from Vacation.

STILL didn't get time to work on a real auction thread - and will be heading away for 3 days tomorrow, to cover a promising auction up North. Hopefully it will be a good starting point when I get back.
Back to Triumphant, err, Thursday!
My surprise of the week, this week, was this fruit jar, which I bought retail (for about half of the opening bid) in a shop because it was small. Small fruit jars seem to be sought after, because the majority were larger. They are also easier to pack. I had hoped this one would have made $20 - $30 range.
Last week this one took the biscuit. It was in two tea chests of paper at the best auction that I have covered so far this year (and the same auctioneer as this Sunday's auction), but I paid about double what this made for the tea chests (and I am already into very good profit with more to go). This biscuit item was in the same tea chest.
There were also some photography books (and lots of photographs) in the same chests, this catalog did the best, and this Kodak Promotional Book also did well. There are collectors of the "Kodak Girl" who was on the cover.
And two weeks ago my triumph was this piece of Lalique bought retail from an antique shop - for an unbelievable US $25.00. I assumed she had missed the mark (anything else good was ridiculously overpriced) but she pointed out the mark as she wrapped it!!!!
After a bad run early July things seem to have picked up again.
Cheers, Kevin
