Question
I have a paypal acct that I need to change the checking account info on as I misplaced the checks to this account, and then closed the account. I did eventually find the checks but after the fact.
Now I have some money in the paypal acct that I would like to transfer to my new checking acct. I go to profile, and can't see a way to change the info. If I delete the first account, then my account is no longer verified.
I am thinking of adding the new account, and then making it the primary one , and then deleting the first one ????
And I thought this was going to be a easy thing to do

Just added the new one.
Must wait a few days for the info from the bank.
And then log back into paypal and confirm.
Then I can delete the old one.....
Would you not think that paypal could make this a little easier ?
Just how often do they think we change the info in our profile........
sigh.......
My new checking acct is just for ebay and paypal only.
I also got another new account for other online auction sites.
And then of course my main checking account.
Can you tell I don't trust ebay ???????

I remember thinking the same thing when I changed one of accounts recently.. But I couldn't come up with a better way for them to do it.. If they allowed you to change to the data for the account, they would still have to verify.. so I guess making you add one, then delete the old, is the best way.. It does eliminte the need for them to develop an 'edit' module for that particular item.. meaning one less item that can break when they do updates to their system.. At least that's how I looked at it..
