When you answer the question from a buyer that gets posted on the auction page, does the buyer also get an email with the answer? Or, is the buyer supposed to remember to go back and look at the auction page to find the answer to the question?

Well, got to wondering about that after I asked a seller a question a while back and never got a reply. I just so happened to check the auction again and saw the answer posted on the auction page. Maybe the email just got lost.
I just don't want my bidders to think I'm not answering them.

Yes, email is sent ....but.... Ebay's email system has variable reliability.
I always reply directly to Ask A Seller A Question emails. Tonight I got the first enquiry that needed to also go onto the auction, so I replied directly and replied through Ebay's system. I guess that they got two email answers, but they should have gotten at least one.

I do both if the question is truly relavent to my auction. Shipping, new item, etc get answered both. Where can I get this item myself doesn't get posted on the auction - just a response of "bid in my auction". LOL
What is in a person's mind to email a seller and ask where they can find the item being offered in an auction?
