I do enjoy it as a buyer. But I'm more than willing to give it up.
It stinks as a seller! I get items with 5-6 watchers, and no bidders. The item ends with a zero bid. Then 4 emails come in telling me they were watching and forgot to bid. Or, I've gotten emails asking if something is wrong with my item since nobody is bidding....
At the very least, it would be nice if eBay would show on the ad how many people are watching, so that my customers could see that. That would drive competitiion a little more.
As it is, I get tons of looky loos who forget to bid.

I still think most of my "watchers" are just the curious and/or someone that has a like item to sell and wants to see what it goes for or if it even sells. I recently had a fairly unique item (wasn't one currently on eBay) for a very low price, over 10 watchers and no bids. Go figure.
