Question
I have a nifty database that I built for listing our auction and store items. It creates the HTML code for the description and allows for me to monitor the profitability of an item after multiple relists and paypal costs etc.
The one thing that slows us down when we are creating our listings is the ebay category. I always end up copying and pasting from Turbo Lister when we have a unique product to list. I would like to be able to view and search the category data directly in our database but I have looked in to doing the download from eBay and it requires much more effort (and cost) than I'm willing to put in. Does any one know of a simple free software that pulls the categories off of the eBay server? I know it is possible because I've read about it in the eBay developer stuff. i'm sure it exists as part of some of the third party listing products out there but I'm too small a player to want to pay for these solutions and mine is perfectly adequate for me (except for the categories... aaaarrgghhh! )
Any direction from you guys would be much welcome. Thanks.

Hello and welcome to here shockeymoe!
This isn't really what you're looking for but it might be of some value. I like it because the category numbers are 'in your face' rather than hidden in numerous drop-down menus.
