Question
I am wondering how many of you have comissioned a graphic design person for an auction template?
I think someone on here mentioned an article about a camera salesperson that went with professional photographs and a template and at least doubled his sales.
Have any of you here had the same success?
Answer
I have! Serenity, who posts here, made me a gorgeous auction template that was easy to use and memorable. Many people remembered me and my stuff through my template, and it became kind of a "brand" for me.
Unfortunately (and let this be a lesson, should you get one), my laptop was stolen, along with all the HTML..... so now I don't have it.
Bottom line - I think they make a difference, and are worth it, but make sure to have a fail safe backup somewhere other than your hard drive and desk!

Why can't you download the html from one of your old auctions?
Answer
Oh gadz momelie, my relatives from Tennessee just left this morning. What a week this has been!
I've got to dig out the CD and email all the stuff to you -- please don't let me forget.

Unfortunately, said auctions are too old to be available anymore. Its been awhile - I had taken a break to concentrate on my Ruby Lane store, so they scrolled off eBay. Like I said.... lessons learned!
Serenity - whenever you get around to it! No problem - I'm still getting my ducks in a row here.
Answer
Our own Tanya here at here made mine for a very reasonable price.
I get lots of compliments on it from bidders.
Here is a link to an old auction as I am not listing anything right now, if you look at my store page she also made the scroll with pattern links. I get lots of comments on how easy my store is to browse, when I am listing I typically have over 1000 items so that is important to me!

My eBay auctions of February 2004 are still out there. You just need an eBay item number to pull up the auction.
Answer
Um, more of a break than that, I'm afraid, LOL! IIRC, April of 2003 was when my mother started chemo, so it was about 2 weeks before that.
Answer
how much did you pay? I am contemplating getting someone to do this for me but I am unsure as to what it would cost. Thanks in advance
Answer
Hi Scott5cincy
I can't remember for sure as I had tanya do my store web page at the same time.
It will depend also on how much work is involved and what all you want done.
It was very well worth it, If you look at her website it may give you an idea or email her from there and she would be happy to give you an idea too.
good luck!!
