Ebay watch list poll

Question
In which way do you most often use the Ebay watch list....

Answer
I usually bookmark items I'm interetsed in watching the ending prices on, and only use the watch feature for items I'm interested in bidding on.

Answer
Shoulda had a "all of the above kinda thing" http://community.here.com/infopop/em.../icon_wink.gif
Sometimes***I mostly watch things I plan to bid on (that particular one)
Often***I mostly watch things I have similar ones to sell as research
Rarely plan that well in advance***I mostly watch things to see if they are worth trying to sell before I buy inventory
Almost always if there are more than one available***I watch several of the same that I want to bid on before I pick which one to bid on
Be lost without it http://community.here.com/infopop/em...on_biggrin.gif***Ebay has a watch feature?? I never use it

Answer
most of the above
I watch particular items im interested in bidding on
If I see something I have and plan to list I will watch others
if I see something that I may have seen at a sale and wonder how they are doing I will watch
if there are several of the same item I may watch the most promising ones before I bid
my watch list is usually close to the max of 30 (in fact at times I have maxed out all 3 of my ebay ids with 90 items watched)
and I reveiw it at least once a day to decide what I want to bid on
items I decide to bid on I will do a snipe bid.
I will also place "marker"bids on some items to keep my watch list free
for example if I see a 100.00 item with the bid at 25.00 I may bid knowing that I wont get it at that bid but it keeps it easly watched
how do you bookmark rather than use watch ?

Answer
I created a file in my 'favorites" folder.

Answer
I hadnt thought of that I guess I could evan do subfolders
thanks

Answer
I never use Watch. I bookmark items in my browser that I am interested in, and set up snipe bids for the ones I REALLY want.
I don't want to give eBay ANY data on what I am watching.
As a seller, how many people are watching my item seems irrelevant, as I need bids on my items, not eyeballs watching them!

Answer
I also bookmark into a folder in my favourites.I am not fond of all the signing in with eBay and have found it to be easy to just delete the bookmark when the auction ends.

Answer
I do the top three on your list.
The Watch feature has been very, very helpful. I watch the maximum number of items I can all the time.

<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><font size="-1">quote:</font><HR>I am not fond of all the signing in with eBay <HR></BLOCKQUOTE>
I have my password saved and just click on a shortcut on my desktop which takes me right to my ebay watching page
I scan it for auctions closing in the next 24 hours then checkout items Im bidding on
then click on the tab for items I'm selling
I have to sign in maybe once every week or 10 days other than that I just click and Im there.
