Question
OK, I have been talked into doing this ebay store stuff but how do I post an item??? I use auctiontamer and it has on the template a button to click for the store category 1-19, I did this and when I posted the item ebay charged me 60 cents.
I did not see where to click "store listing" just the usual "min bid-reserve and buy now" buttons.
I don't want to post any more listings until I can get them into the store for the 3 cents.
Answer
I just set up an eBay store and I use Auction Tamer. To have items end up in your store, you need to make a store template for each category you are listing in (or set it up so that you can pick categories each time) and also click on the appropriate length for your listing in the drop down list (30, 60, 90, good till cancelled). It is dirt cheap to add a picture to the picture gallery with eBay stores, I suggest you add that. I think most of my listings cost me 7 cents with pictures and are good for 90 days or so....heckuva deal.
If you are having problems, I suggest reading their support forums to see if you can find the answer to your questions already there. If not, post your question and you should get help-they are really nice about helping there.
Good luck!

I forgot to click the day time frame so I did that, but the templates that they have when you go to the edit page they have a section for the category's 1 thru 19 so I just clicked which store category I wanted.
So where do you put the amount of your item?
I have been to the forums but no answer on my question and I can't find much on the stores.
Answer
I use AT (except right now I'm having some XP-related problems drat).
What I did was as Argh said, I made a separate AT template for each store category I use--example, say that vintage kitchen plastics would be category 5 in your store, one of your templates could be called vkp or whatever makes sense for you. On the template itself, edit to insert the correct category number just for that particular template--you don't want to have to change it for every single listing you do. Once you have one set up, it's a breeze to set up all the others--use the "copy template" feature to make a new one for each category in your store. If you use all 19 store categories, then make 19 different templates. When you're creating a listing, you put the store price ONLY in the Buy-It-Now box.
I hope that makes sense!
As I mentioned, I'm having a little trouble with AT --apparently some of my settings are goofed up since I have upgraded to XP-Pro. They are working with me to try to figure out what's wrong. In the meantime I've been doing a few listings with TurboLister--ACK! I want my AT back! It's so fast and easy to create a listing with Auction Tamer, I think I'm spoiled for all other programs.
Answer
ddhafe,
For stores, place the price in the [Buy Now] leave [Min Bid] blank.
For Store category, use any of the 3 [Misc] in the "Edit Template" but stick with one only.
Then in the poster in whichever [Misc] you chose in the template, place a number.
for example, if in your ebay store you have the following category numbers, you would place the following numbers in the [Misc] area:
store cat 1- apples.........AT =0
store cat 2- oranges......AT =1
store cat 3- lemons........AT =2
store cat 4- spinach.......AT=3
hope this helps you a little bit!
edited: I only use one template and change the numbers in the [Misc] section.
