Just got this in email....
Important Notice: Pottery & Glass Category Structure Reinstated
After a complete review of Community feedback and several weeks of key performance measurements in the Pottery & Glass category, eBay will restore the recently changed sub-categories effective the week of July 12.
All of the legacy category numbers will be reinstated, with the exception of the following 3 categories:
- China, Dinnerware > Noritake
- Art Glass > North American > Other Makers
- Glassware > Depression > Other Makers
We will also remove Item Specifics, as they will be redesigned over the next 6 months and reintroduced at a later date. Product Finders will continue to appear on the site for about a week after the category changes, so that items listed with Item Specifics prior to this change can still be found.

Okay, why are these three categories being removed? Do they simply have a crossover/repeat category, or is there another logical reason?
Legacy: N., 1.Law, A gift of property; A bequest; 2. A consequence.
So is this Ebay being Philanthropic?

Oh, goodie.
But I'll have some work to do once the change takes place--about 100 store listings to revise to re-add the category numbers I removed when everything got schlumped into 94 and 17.
And where the heck am I supposed to put my Noritake china
