Question
It seems the board has changed and I am the only one in the payment processing forum! I have never had a paypal problem and I want to figure this out as quick as possible. I sent paypal an email but who knows when I will get a response. I am hoping maybe someone here has had a similar experience. Below is what I posted in another forum.
I received an email from paypal this morning saying I have a cleared echeck and the funds are now available. I went to my paypal account and they are not there. I found the transaction and it shows cleared for $66.26 but there is no balance in my account. I do not leave funds in there and have withdrawn all payments received. My balance should be $66.26 and it is 0. Please help! I have not had any serious problems with paypal and I don't want to start having problems. I am concerned about shipping the item since I don't know what it going on. Thank you for your help.

Thanks for the paypal number. I didn't think to check for one and assumed they would be as hard to talk to as ebay. Apparently the funds were there before the email notice arrived and were used to pay for an item I bought.

My emails from paypal have arrived about a day after the account actually shows the check cleared. So that sounds like what happened to you. They were there, you used them before you even got the email.
I called paypal once, before I was even a member, about a problem with a paypal debit card being used by my bidder. The guy that answered the phone was an idiot, but the guy he passed me to was very pleasant and helpful.

I paid for an item and I thought it came from my bank account. The email arrived a full day after the funds cleared.I was surprised when I checked my account and it was 0. Thanks for the replies.
