We have started this thread and another below for anyone that can help, or anyone that will need assistance.
Feel free to post here, or at the DOUA ebay Groups Message Board for your needs, desires, and fears.
If you are disabled in any way, and wish to join this group, please do so.
You will be supported if you can make the trip. We will see to your needs.
We can use support from Ebay, and all other communities. If you are able to support in any way, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Ebay live, will be a wonderful opportunity to show this communities support for the people of ebay.
Seller's and Buyers.
Ebay LIVE is not so much A cheerleading session for Ebay, as much as it is a celebration of who we are, what we have achieved, and what we want to accomplish in the years to come.
Let us take the lead, and show support to many that need our help and support.
Your help, is critical.
Doua will lead the way this year in support for people with disabilities. We will be offering assistance in many ways.
We need several people, that can coordinate some of the folks coming to Ebay Live.
Some will need assistance in getting there and back home.
Many will only need assistance in getting where they need to be at certain times.
We want to also make sure that all of their needs are seen too. wake up calls, making sure they get to their hotels, etc.
we are looking into a meeting room where we can meet-up with one another.
If you can assist anyone, or wish to be a coordinator, please post here, or contact Marjie for direction.
We lead by example. Ebay will support this effort over time.
If you can assist, and be someones Guardian Angel, please let us know.

Thank you for this lovely post Bill. It looks like we're gonna be "crip central" for this event. http://community.here.com/infopop/em...icon_smile.gif We currently have 5 folks that need rides to and from EbayLive. Mimi's friend is one of the five that we're trying to help get there.
We are trying to get hotel info for those that want to go and we will be doing a few airport runs on Wednesday evening and Thursday to help some get from the airport to their hotels.
We will have some manual wheelchairs availabled to loan to anyone that may need one.
But most important, we will be there to help anyone who needs a hand. Sort of like a buddy system.
You do NOT need to be disabled to ask for help. You do NOT need to be a member of DOUA to ask for help. DOUA exists to help the eBay community - we are ALL a part of that. http://community.here.com/infopop/em...icon_smile.gif
