overture keyword suggestion tool- applicable to ebay?

I use the overture keyword suggestion tool for both my website and ebay ads for help in choosing keywords for the title etc.. I'm wondering though if keyword searches on the web correspond in any way to searches on ebay. in other words, do ppl shopping on ebay search with the same terms as someone shopping the web for an identical item or type of item?
any opinions or experience is appreciated. too bad ebay doesn't offer this type of tool for their site. would be nice to know how many times the phrase *vintage widget* was searched on ebay in the last month (meg, you reading?).

eBay does have a keyword suggestion tool of sorts, available if you use their keyword program:

I think this page lists the top 1000 eBay keywords but they aren't ranked:

thanks for that link and info, irene. can't wait until they make it available to all users! will be interesting to compare to overture, also.
has anyone signed up for this? do you know if it is possible to sign up, use the keyword suggestion tool but not actually bid on any words?
