In NJ, my motorcycle and another was stolen from an outside parking garage. The owner of the building has informed me that I park at my own risk and they are not going to pursue an insurance claim. Does it make since to bring legal action against the building or the company I work for? I do not have theft insurance on my motorcycle.
The company I work for rents from COSCO. The building has a security person at the front door and is in the process of installing electric wooden gates for the parking garage. A car was recently stolen and the building did not inform my company. The parking is not open to the public.

Unless you gave someone took control of your bike, ie, you gave them the keys or you parked in a known secured location, parking is at your own risk.

Why should someone else provide coverage for physical damage when you didn't purchase it yourself? The short answer is no, you park at your own risk.
