Me and my husband were divorced on Jan 18,2005. He just received his Cobra papers Feb 26,2005. My employer says they cancelled his insurance on Jan 17, 2005 the day before my divorce. Since the 18th he has seen the dr. 3x. He did not know they cancelled the insurance the day before our divorce. Is he responsible for those bills and can he do that
