I am covered by United and when I was eight months pregnant my insurance plan was changed. I went from paying a $100.00 deductable to paying 40% of the hospital bill. I was wondering is there anything that I can do about this? If so, what can I do to get this problem solved?

Very occasionally, an insurance policy will allow for an employee in the last third of a pregnancy at the time of a change to carry over the maternity benefits from the old policy to the new one. It is NOT common, but it does happen. If your policy allows for this, then you can apply for that benefit. If it doesn't allow for this, I'm afraid you're SOL.
