Was in a car accident. Other guy's insurance offered to settle with me. My personal health insurance says that they will not pay any medical claims having to do with this accident.
If my doctor says that I am recovered, will my health insurance at work have to pay my claims in the future if I have similiar problems? How can I make sure I will have no conflict in the future? I can't keep the claim open forever!

What advise have you received from your own auto insurance company on settling? The auto insurance should go after the medical re-imbursement owed you thru the other drivers policy.. As to your doctor question, no one here can tell you point blank since we dont know your injuries,medical history, or how permanent this damage may or may not be. My crystal ball is in the shop, no can do on helping you on future conflicts.

Maybe you should get your glasses fixed along with your crystal ball. The post read that the other guy's insurance IS paying for my medical. But once I settle, how can I make sure that MY OWN health insurance will cover any future medical without them saying it was a cause of this accident. So thanks for absolutely NO HELP Rude TAYLA

Okay let me recheck here: "Was in a car accident. Other guy's insurance offered to settle with me." I clearly dont see any statement that the other guys insurance is currently paying on the medical bills. It states they are ready to settle. I'm not being rude here, just trying to understand the whole picture of things. So given that bit of info I was willing to offer the avenue of speaking with your own insurance company on what would be best. Refrain from personal attacks . Sorry if it was misconstrued as rude.

Did you have any injuries in this accident and are you being treated for them now?? It would help you (for future reference) now to get examined by a physician to document your current state of health as of this date.
If you don't have an personal injury lawyer handling this for you, you seriously should consider getting one, instead of dealing with the insurance company yourself. An attorney can get you maximum dollar value from your case.
You can't automatically assume that the insurance company will use that as an excuse in the future, but you are wise to assume that that might be a possibility.
