Provider Drops Wife

Illinois—, I have my wife and my child on
My health insurance plan thru my employer, my wife also works, but the insurance that her employer offers is not very good. So she is on mine. My provider now says that if my wife is employed and her employer offers an insurance plan, and her premium is not 20% of her monthly wages then she must get insurance thru her employer, and make my insurance a secondary provider.
Does this sound Right ?

I agree. It sounds right & is legal. All three of us agree it is ok - majority rules. Many employers handle group ins. in this way.

I make a fourth. It is not only legal, it is becoming a common way of dealing with out-of-control insurance costs.
