My pharmacist billed the wrong insurance company for almost a year and the insurance company mistakenly paid the pharmacist. Now the insurance company has sent me a bill for all the prescriptions they mistakenly paid. Am I legally responsible for the pharmacist's and insurance company's mistakes or should they be dealing with each other?

Do you have proof that the Pharmacy received payments directly from the insurance company? If you do, send copies to the insurance company and request that they contact the pharmacy for reimbursement.
Has the correct insurance company been billed?
