I just found out I'm being sued by a company for libel because of some posts I put on a message board. Will my personal liability coverage on my home owners policy help me out here if I were to and loss this?What if I just litagate and end it? Will it cover thesettlement?

It would be necessary to reveiew the exact policy form and know your state's law to answer. BUT you probably will be able to be covered to the extent of advancing the the cost defense of the action, with the insurance company likely seeking a "reservation of rights" letter.
Intentional acts are generally NOT covered by a homeowners policy, and thus if you are found responsible they will probably not pay the claim and may ask for the defense costs.
You really need a lawyer YOU RETAIN to advise you based on the EXACT facts and circumstances and to help you deal with your insurance company.
Also, libel is easy to charge and hard to prove, particularly where a public figure is involved.
