filled out papers including credit life. He stated husband/wife in good health without asking them. They signed without reading what he had marked.
Husband age 55 now deceased from cancer that he had at the time of purchase.
Wife was not even elegable because her age was 72. Does wife have any options?
Should she hire a local lawyer?

Answer
Probably all that wife will be able to recoup is the premium that was paid for the credit life. And if the application was incorrect then she may not even be able to do that.
No one should sign a contract without reading and understanding it first.
This is an unfortunate situation but I don't think that it is very uncommon.
Best of luck to the wife.
