Hi, Myself and my children are currently enrolled under my husbands health care coverage. The children are from my previous marriage. He is threatning to remove the children and I from the plan. If his open enrollment is in Nov, is there a way he can do this now? He told me he talked to his company and they said yes. I called Cigna, and they told me that the only way that he can remove me is if we get divorced, or its open enrollment. I am not sure what to think, and now I am really worried as we need this coverage. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

CIGNA would be correct. He can only remove you or the children if there is a life changing event, i.e. death, marriage, divorce, birth, etc....
