What is the name of your state? Louisiana My home was damaged do to roof leaking during hurricane Katrina. I had wall to wall carpet, and 2 bedrooms didn't receive damage. The first adjuster said that all of the wall to wall carpet is covered because it is wall to wall, but the company fired that adjuster. They said that he never turned in the adjustment, and they sent another. The second adjuster and the insurance company say they will only replace in rooms where their was damage, so I will no longer have wall to wall carpet. I know of friends and family that had all of the wall to wall carpet replaced when some of it was damaged. Does this vary from company to company? Thanks

Goes up to every wall in the each room completely covering the floor. You will stilll have wall to wall they will just have to cut it at the entrance to each room that was not damaged and bring the new carpet up to meet where they cut it. A good installer will be able to accomplish this without you being able to see where they meet.
Most homes have a seam anyway in a room that is larger than 12 feet either way because carpet comes in 12 foot wide rolls unless special ordered to a certain length. I could almost quarantee you that there are already seams at each entry to each room anyway unless there is a large opening between rooms.
Your friends may have had carpet that was not easy to match or it was older carpet which would account for them getting every room done. Your carpet is probably a neutral colored and would be easy to match which is why they are saying they dont need to do the non damaged rooms.
