i was in an auto accident and my health insurance is not paying the bills. they say its not their responsiblity that the person that hit me has to pay them. which i understand but shouldnt they pay them and then the car insurance remimburse them. and if they werent going to pay them for that reason why did they pay some here and there and not others? They paid for my mri-about 6,000 worth but now wont pay the doctor bills them self .. should they pay? what is health insurance for if its only for when im actually sick???? What if i fell on the street are they gonna say its the city fault and they need to pay them cause its their street???? lol

Normally the way this works is that your health insurance will pay your claims and then subrogate the claims with the at fault party's insurance. What you need to do however is get a hold of your insurance policy and read the fine print and see what it says on this issue.
