Our Homeowners is not renewing us. Are Homeowner Policy rates set by the state or do we shop around? Any suggestions on what company we should consider if we are to shop around?

What reason do they state for not renewing you? Ask friends and neighbors who they use and go forward from there. After all people from your area would know best what the going rates are.
Each state has an Agency that oversees Insurance Companies and their practices.
