My job requires that I lift 50 lbs. I was pregnant and my doctor said I could not do my job because of that requirement. I filed for LTD and was denied because ins. co. said I could lift weight until my 24th week. My doctor said I could not. In medical records there is no record of doctor saying that although my husband was in the room when the doctor said it and wrote the note to my employer. What is my best way to appeal?

Let me add the doctor's note simply said that I was unable to perform the duties of my job.
