Haven't received the citi aa amex yet. But just wanted to take a look at the perks.

The non-Citi Amex cards are better deals, e.g. Starwood, but it is nice to get 15K AA bonus miles. :)
And, Citi does offer you something if you call to cancel after six or eight months, like five miles per $ on "everyday purchases" which are those at food stores, drug stores and gas stations. 5K cap on this. Costco doesn't count. YMMV.
