Depending on the Card you apply for for example
Chase Continental Signature card
2/1 on selected merchants
85.00
now the Chase Continenal World Master card
15000 bonus miles 2/1 on selected merchants
however 85.00 Annual Membership Fee
I got 2 Pres club pass and 2 discount airline Cert ever
anniversay year
You can receive bonus miles though
