Chairman Card Credit Lines??

Question
I was curious to know whether the creidt line one has on the Chairman Card actually reflect the "premium" card that it claims to be. Interestingly, mine was at only 20k and after noticing it, I contacted CS who indicated I had to speak with my AE at SB. They indicated no CS would raise the line. After many calls, it was finally raised to 60k. One of the agents actually made it seem the lines are generally much higher than what I had/have. Do people really have 100-150k plus lines on the card????

Answer
My citi credit line is comparable to my other official credit limits. Citi = $35,000. However, remember that the card does have a non-preset limit feature. I have never tested this before.

Answer
Is that line solely on your Chairman card as the rep indicated the lines on these cards are soooo much greater than the other Citi Cards.

Answer
That is my Chairman line.

Answer
I have 3 card in my wallet....
PC Visa -- credit line of 9500 -- do not really care since this is only used for Holiday Inn stays where I earn 3 pts per $
Premier Pass Business --- credit line of 15k -- which I hardly ever come close to touching
Chairman Card -- for all personal expenses/large expenses/flights....credit line of $87000 -- it will be over 100k this year....
so, all in all, I have over 100k in credit available to me...bvut I hardly even come close to using 20%

Answer
In the way of MasterCards I just counted 29 in my wallet. My Chairman does NOT have the highest limit, actually my Merril+ has the highest limit. So that is 25k Chairman and 150k Merril+.

how many CC do you have?
How big is your wallet? How does it fit in your pants? Or is it like the "Sienfeld" episode where George cannot even close his wallet?
Do you charge on each and every single MC?
How do you keep track of all the due dates?
Wow....

Answer
That is a really, really, really good question... How the heck do you do it? Why, if you don't mind my asking? I have like 11-12 cards; chairman line is like 25k, which is by far the lowest of any of mine. Wow DrBond -- that's all I can say... Care for a consult w/ the best spine surgeon @ HSS in NYC if you're wearing that wallet in your back pocket?? Just kidding...

My Chairman limit is 25k, I guess I could call to get it raised but I'm just too lazy.
You guys are so funny!
Here is another question that I thought of - although it is off topic...Has anyone (drbond?) heard of there will be two co-existing versions of the Chairman once v2 is released? IE, if someone chooses not to opt-up will they be allowed to keep the $400 a year card or are they going to have to go back to the Premier Pass? Thanks and I apologize if this question has been answered before.

Answer
IIRC I started out with a limit of 20k. After a couple of Citi/AA/MC churns it was up to 60-70K.

Answer
Well I do have about the same number of various AX cards in my wallet and more VI.
I carry actually two wallet as neither has enough room and I wear a waste belt. :D
No I don't carry them all, but since you are interested I currently have in my "SAFE" over 1400 credit cards including VI, MC, AX, DI, Store, Fuel, Airline and specialty cards. I do not count debit or gift cards.
Enough of the trivia.
I have been thinking about cutting down the cards in my current carry wallet. I have a hard time pulling it out of my pants. It goes in just fine, but does not come out well. Good pickpocket deterrent.
When I travel overseas I carry a much smaller version.
All countries:
US State DL
International DP
Passport
AAdvantage WMC
Chairman
AX Plat & Centurion
AX DL SM Plat
Delta Credit Union VI
AAA Card
If traveling to a EURO Zone country add:
Irish MasterCard & Irish Debit Card
Tesco Card
Heritage Card
If traveling to the UK add:
UK MasterCard and UK Debit Card
UK Tesco Card

:D :D EVERYONE READ THIS! :D :D
YES! you can keep your current Chairman MC as long as you do not:
a.) Cancel the card (you'll never get it back)
b.) Upgrade the card (you'll never be able to go back)

It is about time you write a sticky about this !!

Answer
If I knew how to set up a sticky I would be glad to do it.

BEWARE: If you create a sticky for your Chairman card insight, it will cause a virtual riot. We will all be suspended.
