Question
I have been using an UA Mileage Plus Platinum card since 2006. However, I was charged the annual fee of $60 last month. A customer service agent of MP told me the annual fee could be refunded upon cancellation of the card within 60 days after it was charged. Two weeks ago I applied for another Mileage Plus Visa Signature card and received it last week. The offer with this Visa Signature card includes 21000 miles after the first $250 purchase and a first-year annual fee waiver.
In terms of saving money and getting more benefit, should I cancel the Platinum one and keep the Signature one just keep them both, or just cancel the Signature one after 21000 miles deposited to my MP account? Or you guys have better idea?
Any ideas? Thanks!

if it is the same annual fee then i am sure signature would have better benefits (atleast on paper) than the plat plus card. Now if you want to cancell them all that is a different issue all together. I probably would convert to a fee free card once the first year is done.
