Question
I was living in the DFW area for a while and it made sense to have an AA card.
Recently I moved to Houston and got a Chase CO card as I will be flying them almost exclusively (plus their partners KLM and Emirates). My question is whether or not I should get rid of the AA card. I do not have a ton of miles on it but I have racked up a good many by simply flying AA.
Also, I have had my CO card for about 4 weeks (in my hands) but have still not seen my miles show up under my OnePass account. How long does it usually take for the sign-up miles to show up? What about miles that you accrue through purchases? I bought two tickets to Boston 4 weeks ago and still do not see the miles in my account (though I see the charges under the card).
How do I double check that the card is tied to the correct OnePass number? I assume it is, but you never know.

Welcome to Ft and the Credit Card forums!
Just like on your Citi AA card the CO miles will post one or two days after your statement gets sent out. If you'd like the date now you'll need to call Chase and ask because until the first bill gets processed the online account won't show anything. You can expect you bonus miles to post at the same time.
If you don't need the Citi AA card I wouldn't bother keeping it as it has an annual fee, unless you carry the Bronze version. Citi will offer to convert it to a non-annual fee card when you try to cancel too. They many even offer you some bonus miles to keep it. If they do offer you the bonus miles take them and call back next month and convert the card to one of the non-annual fee versions then or just cancel it then.

I concur with Dudemon. Except for...
If you are close to one million miles, I would keep the card to earn AA miles.
If not then consider having Citi convert your AA card to a Premier Pass, Premier Pass Elite, or Diamond Preferred.
Answer
That was what I figured but I just wanted to double check.
Thanks for the suggestion about the Citi AA card!
