I applied and was approved by Chase for a Disney card in January. They then sent me another preapproved application for a different card with a better deal in February. I applied and was told it was declined due to the time between applications was too recent. How long do I have to wait? They have sent me two additional applications since then. I have not mailed them yet. Does anyone know how long they want between applications?

I believe it's 60 days. But, you still may get the second card, regardless of the letter. Wait a bit.

I got the same letter and it was a different card. Chase should not be blocking apps for different products or they should not be soliciting for different products simultaneously. Does Citi and BoA do this? They have a wide selection of different products as well.

My experience with chase is the 60 day rule doesn't apply if one card is personal and one is a business card. Although the business account is linked to an EIN first and a SSN second. Whereas the personal card is all about your own SSN.

Wonder if this has changed recently, last August I applied for two different Chase cards within 2 weeks and got them both, although the second one had half the credit line as the first.
