when I went to activate my new starwood amex they offered me 2500 to add another person, so I added my wife. Call them and ask for 2500 to add, worst they can say is no.

I added my wife 6 months ago and I'm still fighting with them to get the promised points.

HEY!!! Thanks for the reminder! I too added my wife about 6 months ago as i was promised 5K points for doing so. I've YET to see those points. Guess it's time to make a phone call or two.
