Looks like the Amex gives you 10,000 bonus points off the bat; the Visa (through Citi) gives you 15,000.
Does anyone have any preferences?

The Amex card has more earning power in terms of HHonors points. 5 vs 3, I believe.

10k points up front vs. 15k for HH Visa
10k points over your next 5 stays
Extra 500 points per hilton stay booked online vs. zero for HH Visa
5 points per $ on select spending vs. 3 points per $ on HH Visa
3 points per $ on regular spending vs. 2 points per $ on HH Visa
Complimentary silver status plus gold status if you spend $20k
The extra 5k initial points from HH Visa will be eclipsed as soon as you stay at Hiltons once or twice.

The offer is for 10k over your next 4 stays, i.e. 2,500 per stay for a total of 10k. This link is on the AMEX HHonors page.
