Did you get your notice in the mail from chase? I did and called to verify it wasn't just me and also verified with the operator that they are receiving many calls expressing displeasure. The new rate is 24.99% and this notice comes as what looks to be junk mail/flyer. This becomes effective 3/1/07 and she quoted all cards were increasing to improve profits. I asked 3 times to verify that it wasn't a me thing so, keep an eye out for a notice in the mail anyday now. Any current promo's will be honored as long as you don't miss a payment.

The GOLDEN rule is (when using reward cards), pay the whole amount at the end of the billing cycle. I am trying to be as friendly/gentle as possible here. It should not matter what the rate is, because paying the minimum will lead to disaster.
